Local Bookshops

Waterstones

25/26 Farnsby St, Swindon SN1 1NB, UK – 01793 436465

I have found other places online cheaper but here you can look at the items before you purchase. I have ordered books from them over the web and phone and collected them from this store with no problems. They have a very good selection. I have found the staff here in this store very helpful.

Nice book store spread over two floors. Reasonable range of books with prompt pickup for any books you may order. Can be a little tight to move around especially with a pushchair or wheelchair.

Incredible Comic Book Shop

21, The Plaza, Brunel Centre, Swindon SN1 1LF, UK – 07407 036392

Friendly service, great collection of imported comics. Pop and other figures displayed and for sale. Near all geek items available, from some dnd and tabletop, boardgames, figures, clothes and more.

Excellent selection of comics..would like to see a few more British Artist here

The Works

The Co-Op Store, 28-32 High St, Swindon SN1 3EG, UK – 01793 496546

Small outlet inside the co-op store with a few products out on display but is perfect for the click and collect service. Staff are friendly and helpful and the store's website always has a great price on acrylic painting supplies with multiply discount codes displayed for 10-15% off. My advice is to shop online to see the full range of products and get the relevant discount codes and the click and collect in store or get free home delivery on orders over £20

Small outlet but well stocked and you can click and collect here from the website. Open quite late too so very convenient.
